Since opening our doors in 1987, we have focused on creating more than beautiful hair. We have worked to build a culture centered around professionalism, education, consistency, hospitality, and genuine care for the people who sit in our chairs every day. Over the years, we’ve trained and mentored hundreds of hairdressers, color specialists, and guest care professionals — helping shape not only technical skill, but the experience surrounding it. Education:

One of the stories unique to Mouton's is the impact our team has had on future generations of professionals.

Education has always been one of our foundations.

Our educational structure includes an introductory paid intern program upon joining our team, regardless of the prior experience. Our interns are taught to not only look at the technical aspect of cutting to bone structure, but to also keep the client’s lifestyle and needs in mind when presenting both color and cut. Our educational system does not stop there. We encourage our team members to seek out continued education, and to keep up with current techniques, styles, and trends. Our hair designers are required to annually recertify in all areas of our program.

Customer Service:

Education has always been one of the foundations of Mouton’s. Every service provider who joins our team continues through our internal training structure, regardless of previous experience. Technical skill matters deeply to us — but so does understanding the individual sitting in the chair. We teach our team to consider:
